For the brand identity redesign of 42dot, a mobility AI startup, we refined and expanded their visual language while preserving the existing logo as requested. Our approach focused on selecting a typeface that complements the brand’s futuristic and tech-driven nature, establishing a color palette that balances innovation with reliability, and setting a clear, cohesive tone for messaging. Additionally, we developed an extended graphic system to enhance brand applications across various touchpoints, ensuring a seamless and dynamic identity that reflects 42dot’s vision for the future of mobility.
After exploring 42dot’s visual brand direction, we found that while its technological value, and innovation are well represented, the brand lacks a distinctive visual identity that communicates its core value of ‘freedom of mobility.’ With this in mind, we propose a rebranding strategy that bridges the gap between the brand and its users.
We analyzed the existing logo to identify key characteristics that would guide our typeface selection for 42dot. Our goal was to choose typefaces that not only align with the logo’s visual identity but also effectively communicate the brand’s message.
